From Chaos to Comfort – A Fresh Start for a Family Home

At Mr. Flood Ltd, we understand that sometimes the simplest things – like a fresh coat of paint – can make the biggest difference, especially when life’s challenges get in the way of doing it yourself.

We were recently contacted by a lovely customer, a disabled homeowner with young children, who needed help transforming her hallway. With little ones running about and mobility limitations of her own, painting just wasn’t possible. That’s when she reached out to Mr. Flood and the team to breathe life back into her home.

We began by giving the area a deep clean and full sanitisation, carefully removing sticky hand marks and “gub trails” left behind by playful little explorers. This not only ensured a flawless, long-lasting finish, but also helped neutralise any lingering odours and eliminate pathogens for a fresher, healthier environment.

From there, we got stuck into the prep work – sanding down surfaces, filling minor holes, and making sure everything was perfect before the first stroke of paint went on. By the end of the day, the hallway had been completely transformed. We even selected, supplied, and fitted some picture frames to give it that final homely touch.

The transformation was nothing short of dramatic – and the best part? The customer was over the moon. So much so, she’s asked us to return to do the rest of the house, and to treat the entire property with our signature odour neutralisation solution (which, if I may say so myself, smells absolutely beautiful… even if I do say so myself!).
