EVIDENCE BEFORE ACTION

Surveys & diagnostic testing

Choose a survey for damp, leaks, air quality or building condition. Start with the problem you need the inspection to answer.

Surveys, investigation & testing

Good decisions start with useful evidence.

Moisture mapping, environmental readings, thermal imagery, laboratory samples and ATP hygiene checks each answer different questions. The right method depends on the concern, materials, access and decision the evidence needs to support. Relevant readings and photographs are explained in context, with limitations made visible rather than left in the small print. The result is a practical action plan for suitable remediation, monitoring or further specialist input—not an unexplained collection of instrument readings.

THE CONNECTED SERVICE PATHWAY

Choose the investigation by the question.

A useful survey has a clear purpose, appropriate measurements and a report that explains what the evidence means. These are different investigation routes—not a list of tests automatically included in every visit.

Moisture, leaks & building condition

Begin with the concern and the decisions the report needs to support. Accessible condition observations, moisture mapping and environmental measurements can inform repairs, drying and further investigation. The report distinguishes observations, interpretation and recommendations, identifies limitations and sets out the next practical steps.

The purposePhotographic findings and an evidence-led action plan.

Mould, air quality & surface hygiene

Define whether the question concerns mould identification, selected airborne indicators or surface cleanliness. Laboratory sampling, air measurements and ATP screening measure different things and should not be treated as interchangeable. Scope, sampling locations, conditions and interpretation are agreed before a testing package is selected.

The purposeRelevant measurements, with their meaning and limits explained.

High-level & specialist observations

Drone imagery can help inspect otherwise difficult-to-view external areas where flight and site conditions allow. Electromagnetic investigations need a separate, clearly defined measurement brief. Neither a photograph nor a meter reading replaces the relevant specialist assessment where structural, electrical or other safety concerns are identified.

The purposePurpose-defined observations without unsupported safety assurances.

Turn findings into the next step

An individually written photographic report brings the observations, relevant readings and limitations together in a practical plan. Distinguish remedial work supported by the findings from questions needing further investigation, then define an identifiable quotation where requested. Opening-up, new holes and laboratory sampling remain separate unless expressly included.

The purposeClear findings, practical priorities and additional work agreed first.

Any work beyond the standard damp and moisture survey, including separate treatments or bespoke services, is explained and quoted for agreement before booking or payment. Selecting a service link does not book a visit or add a treatment to your quotation.

THE RIGHT STARTING POINT

Specialist investigations & testing.

Each service has a detailed scope, methods, reporting options, explained terminology and practical questions.

01 / Understand the cause first

Damp, moisture & mould surveys

Damp patches, staining or visible growth can be worrying, particularly when the cause is unclear. Our non-invasive survey reviews the reported history and safely accessible affected and surrounding areas, using relevant comparative moisture readings, environmental information and thermal imaging where useful. Your written photographic report explains the observations, likely contributing factors, limitations and recommended next steps.

02 / Sampling with a clear purpose

Mould testing

Useful mould testing begins with a defined question, not an unexplained sample result. We discuss the concern, agree appropriate sample locations and methods, and record the conditions that give the results meaning. Findings are considered alongside visible growth and moisture evidence, with clear limits on what the sampling can establish and which remedial decisions it can support.

03 / Follow the evidence

Leak detection surveys

The visible damp patch is not always close to the source. We combine the incident history, accessible moisture patterns and useful thermal observations to investigate likely water-migration routes. Findings explain the evidence, remaining uncertainty and any agreed trace-and-access or further testing needed. Plumbing repair and installation remain separate from our investigation, drying and reinstatement services.

04 / A useful record of the property

Residential & commercial property surveys

A focused property survey turns a broad concern into a usable maintenance or restoration brief. We agree the questions, areas and reporting purpose, then assess accessible fabric, visible defects and relevant moisture conditions. The report separates observations from interpretation and prioritises sensible next steps, identifying where a further specialist assessment is needed.

05 / Ask a specific question about the air

Air quality testing

An informative air-quality assessment starts with the property concern and the question to be answered. We agree suitable measurements or sampling, consider occupancy and ventilation conditions, and record the context needed to interpret the results. The findings explain the assessed parameters, limitations and practical next steps without presenting one test as a complete assessment of every airborne hazard.

06 / Make cleaning checks measurable

ATP hygiene testing

ATP hygiene monitoring adds a recorded surface check to an agreed cleaning programme. We define the sampling locations and test conditions, follow the instrument’s protocol and interpret results within that method. Readings can guide targeted re-cleaning and comparable retesting; they do not identify mould or pathogens, establish sterility or certify a surface as safe.

07 / A clearer view of difficult areas

Drone surveys

High-level imagery can make difficult-to-view roof and rainwater details easier to assess. Subject to permissions, site constraints and suitable flying conditions, we record visible coverings, gutters and junctions to support investigation or maintenance planning. Findings distinguish what the imagery shows from areas that still require close access, opening-up or a separate specialist inspection.

08 / A defined measurement brief

Electromagnetic field surveys

An electromagnetic-field enquiry needs a clearly defined measurement brief. We establish the type of field of concern, relevant locations and the purpose of the investigation before confirming suitable instrumentation and scope. Recorded conditions and stated equipment limitations keep the findings factual; the survey is not a medical assessment, an ionising-radiation inspection or a blanket safety certificate.
