When Damp Strikes from Above: The Hidden Consequences of Overlooked Maintenance

A section of broken guttering at the rear of the property was quietly causing moisture to cascade down the wall, directly into vented airbrick openings.

Over time, this steady flow of water saturated the cavity walls, allowing moisture to bridge through to the internal side of the property. What was once a simple maintenance issue had escalated into a larger structural concern — and a more costly one.
